And More Accolades....
Just wanted to let you know that we are so enjoying the new edition to our family!! Ptree (caique) is adorable! Loves to play and gives kisses just like you said. Not to worry about him not eating, he doesn't stop, lol. He has his dinner at 4 when I get home. He already knows it's time and gets all excited to see me. He sits with me while I warm it and cut up his fruit. Then it's play time. He enjoys his entertainment station and being fed fruit by the family. His bed time is 8:30, although, he wanted nothing to do with that tonight. He kept flying back out to me and running up my arm to snuggle in my neck while he yawned and cooed. I held him and let him snuggle, as did Cody... Thank you so much for such a loveable bird. Mary J., Texas
Hey, here's "Lucky" (green cheek conure). He likes to explore and nibble on his new toys. We have attached some pictures so you can see him in his new home. Lucky has been eating like a horse! He is very affectionate, and enjoys spending time on my husband's shoulder. We went to Petsmart and picked up the canary/finch zupreem that you suggested. As well as the millet spray. He seems to love his new home and all of his new toys. Thanks again and we'll keep in touch and send some more pictures soon. Roxxanne G., California
Thought you might like to have an update on Scoots (caique). He is doing wonderfully! He loves to be with anyone who will ask him to "step up" and is otherwise Mommy's velcro baby when no one else is around. He is such a good boy -- a wonderful eater and seems to love blue berries, sweet potato , mustard greens, and a good number of other fresh nummies. Scooter did well while I was in AZ. I was put on speaker phone each afternoon and talked to all the fids. Scoots was the first one to talk to me as soon as he heard my voice, LOL! He is so smart, this little guy. He amazes me every day. He seems to do well with Chloe, who loves to preen him -- and Pakki. I can tell you put a lot of love and care into the raising of your babies. Scooter is a total lover. He likes to crawl under my hand and snuggle against my chest as well as roll down my sleeves and play with/in my hair. He is also very good at entertaining himself in his cage when he is in it. He isn't too keen on going to bed at first, but quickly settles in once he is in his bedtime cage. I don't hear a peep out of him until I lift his cover and tell him "good morning" the next day. Thanks so much for such a sweet, well adjusted baby! I can't recommend you highly enough to anyone who asks. I couldn't be happier with my choice to go with you! Hope all is well with you. I put down a deposit as soon as the eggs were laid. Christine kept me updated through the whole process and sent frequent pictures. When I went to get my baby (lineolated parakeet), she covered everything I needed to know and was very patient. She showed me a great way to sprout seeds and even made me a jar to do it in. Absolutely no complaints. If I had the money I'd get another bird from her right now! Catherine M., Texas
I am so pleased with our blue quaker! He is absolutely beautiful and so cuddly and sweet. He will even lay upside down in my hand already! He has settled right in. My grey likes him too and keeps whistling to get his attention LOL! I was worried he might be stressed from shipping, but he was very calm when I picked him up at the airport. Thank you for the advice!! I came home and took her (parrotlet) out right away and she is just a darling!!! She snuggled in my hair, stepped up for me, let me kiss and pet her and was just so calm and not at all afraid! She did her preening and chirped a little and just explored. I think she fell asleep in my hair at one point because it was like a half hour before she came out...lol Such a cutie! The different color blues you can see in her are amazing! the pictures did not do her justice! And you can tell she was handled a lot and likes people.You did an excellent job with her and I am soooo happy!! Crystal R., Maryland
I just bought my second bird, a Green Cheek Conure from Christine and once again she has outdone herself!! My new baby is very healthy and beautiful! She is very socialized! From the first day she wanted to be out of her cage and with me! You can tell Christine really cares about her babies and takes a lot of time with them. Well, I thought I would write your and let you know how our baby is doing? (They will always be "our" babies). The drive home was great....and all of a sudden RICKY is the name....and it fits him perfectly. When we came home I just sat and let him climb all around me... This morning Ricky was very happy to see me. As soon as I opened the cage he hopped on my hand. As I am writing this to you he is sitting here on my computer while he is eating. I made him some eggs and he really loves them. I also gave him a few sprouts that were ready this morning. Loves them. I have also seen him preening and fluffing his beautiful tail (which I feel is wonderful)...so Ricky is home and he seems to feel very comfortable... but then I did not expect any less from one of your babies... As is Dharma, he is cuddly, lovable and secure! I will send pictures soon! Alina S., Texas

Molly (black headed caique) is doing great. She is so playful. I can't believe how big of a snuggle bug she is! She loves her pellets and veggies and eats a lot! She is so well mannered. I can do almost anything with her. I love to just sit with her and watch TV she never tries to get off me! She just flips on her back and sleeps on me or goes under my chin and snuggles. (White bellied caique) He is great! We all have different names for him and need to decide. I call him pretty boy. My husband calls him buddy and my kids call him lil dude. Right now he is trying to type on my phone. He hangs out with us a lot and walks around following us. He is super sweet! He is a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you again. Tracy K., Texas
